The Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP) is Business Wales' high-growth business support service, designed exclusively for ambitious entrepreneurs and SMEs with the vision, drive and potential to scale at pace. Businesses work with dedicated Relationship Managers and can access Business Wales' Start Up Accelerator and a network of Gold Partners. The process starts with an enquiry so the business can be matched with suitable support, followed by registration to provide business details for tailoring resources, and then ongoing access to webinars, tools and expert advice through the Business Wales journey. The programme is aimed at businesses with strong growth ambitions rather than general start-up or steady-state support; those not ready for this level of growth are instead directed to Business Wales' wider range of start-up and business growth advice. Businesses must be based or operating in Wales with fewer than 250 employees, and demonstrate strong growth potential such as an ambition to grow revenue by 20% year on year, create at least 10 new full-time jobs within 3 years, trade in international markets, or reach turnover exceeding £3m within 3 years of trading.
