Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) is a framework led by trade association ADS Group intended to raise the capability of UK SME supply chains in the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors, aiming to boost growth, quality and delivery performance. It provides tools and resources across several themes: People (attracting and retaining talent), SC21 & Aero Excellence (a continuous improvement programme to raise business capability), Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) support covering carbon emissions reporting and sustainability funding, a Digital & Cyber Toolkit, Innovation (funding and mentoring opportunities), and Finance (information and support on financial issues). A free Baseline Maturity Assessment (BMA) is offered as a starting point for a company's competitiveness improvement journey with SC21, assessing performance across competitiveness, operations, quality, sustainability and innovation, alongside a free ESG self-assessment tool that scores maturity and produces an improvement report. The framework is intended to help businesses continually improve and adopt digital technologies as part of ongoing supply chain development.
