About this support
Trade Accelerator is a trade support programme developed by the British Chambers of Commerce intended to help UK businesses turn international growth ambitions into results by matching them with in-market opportunities and support. The first cohort is Trade Accelerator: Singapore, focused specifically on the Life Sciences and HealthTech sectors and Southeast Asia's healthcare markets. It is described as a six-month, hands-on programme designed to convert strategy into signed deals through market intelligence, regulatory readiness, in-market matchmaking and sustained support, drawing on input from the UK Trade Commissioner for Southeast Asia, a UK Trade Envoy, NatWest and existing UK exporters in Singapore. Businesses can register interest, attend a launch webinar covering market opportunities, regulation, investment and financing considerations, and access a programme overview document outlining how the programme works, the support provided, timelines and expected outcomes. A published cohort document introduces the businesses taking part in the initial Singapore Life Sciences intake.
Who it is for
The current cohort is aimed specifically at UK Life Sciences and HealthTech businesses exploring growth in Singapore/Southeast Asia; no further formal eligibility criteria (such as company size) are stated on the page.
Where it is available
Available UK-wide.
