High Growth Programme

The Grow and Scale programme, delivered by Berkshire Growth Hub (part of the Skills and Business Hub), offers fully funded business support intended to help small business owners grow by leading more effectively, generating more customers and turnover, scaling up, and bringing new products or services to market. Delivery is through experienced business advisers who provide solutions-led, one-to-one support tailored to a business's specific challenges. The programme includes modules on sales and marketing, leadership and people management, and digital marketing, plus signposting to a Funding Escalator (an expansion loan scheme and short-term trade loan scheme) providing funding for activities supporting high growth and employment across Berkshire. Businesses apply by completing an expression of interest form; acceptance is subject to meeting eligibility criteria and availability of places, and the Growth Hub is not obliged to offer a place simply because a form has been submitted. The Hub also offers free impartial guidance, signposting to export/trade support, and a business directory, but does not refer businesses to specific commercial providers.

Support is limited to businesses trading or operating within Berkshire (covering Bracknell Forest, Reading, Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough, West Berkshire and Wokingham); acceptance onto the programme is subject to meeting further eligibility criteria and place availability, which are not fully detailed on the page.
