Leicester Accelerator

Leicester Accelerator is a funded business support project delivered by Business Gateway Growth Hub for businesses based in Leicester city, designed to help them sustain, grow and innovate, with a particular focus on digital adoption and decarbonisation. It supports businesses at all stages of development and runs until 31 March 2026. Support available includes one-to-one business advice, mentoring and diagnostic support geared to growth ambitions; growth vouchers of up to £2,000 (equivalent to 20 hours) for specialist training or consultancy where a business can demonstrate that new functionality or processes will support digital or sustainability practices; and workshops to help enhance digital use or implement new processes, with a specific strand for manufacturing businesses moving to advanced and automated technology. A Digital Transformation Specialist and a Manufacturing Adviser provide personalised account management, and each business receives a tailored Diagnostic Action Plan. The project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered by East Midlands Chamber.
