Made Smarter Adoption (Cheshire & Warrington)

Funded specialist advice and digital roadmapping for manufacturers adopting industrial digital technologies.

About this support

Made Smarter, delivered locally via the Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub, is a technology-adoption support service for small and medium-sized manufacturers in the North West. A team of specialist technology experts provides fully funded, independent advice to help businesses identify the right digital tools to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and get products to market faster. The service includes workshops to develop a digital roadmap tailored to the business, and up to 50% match funding is available towards the cost of adopting technology. Additional strands include a leadership development programme for business owners and managers, and funded digital-native interns that businesses can bring on board. Manufacturers register for a free, personalised assessment via the national Made Smarter website, after which the Growth Hub or Made Smarter team can advise on next steps. Case studies from local manufacturers illustrate examples such as workforce restructuring, adoption of industrial digital technologies, robotics and additive manufacturing.
