Made Smarter Adoption (Lancashire)

Made Smarter Adoption, promoted via Boost Business Lancashire, connects manufacturing businesses to digital tools intended to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve competitiveness. Manufacturing and engineering SMEs can access a range of fully funded support services delivered by The Growth Company. These include Digital Transformation Workshops, a diagnostic and assessment process helping firms develop a strategic action plan for technology adoption; a Transformation Roadmap, a bespoke action plan for adopting digital technology which may involve a leadership development programme, a digital internship placement, or match-funded grant; Leadership & Skills Training delivered through workshops, site visits and facilitated-learning sessions to help leadership teams manage digital transformation; grant funding of up to 50% match funding (maximum £20,000) for equipment and/or software to implement digital projects; and a funded digital intern, providing support from a student or recent graduate during the transformation journey.

Available to SME manufacturing or engineering companies with 249 employees or fewer and either a turnover of less than £36 million or a balance sheet total of less than £18 million; support is accessed through Boost Business Lancashire, implying a Lancashire business base.
