Made Smarter (London)

Made Smarter London is a programme helping London-based manufacturing and engineering businesses adopt digital technologies to transform their operations. Delivered by London & Partners on behalf of the Greater London Authority, it offers bespoke advice, funding, skills development, strategic support and workshops to help firms unlock the benefits of industrial digital technologies. Support available to eligible businesses includes access to new technologies, one-to-one advice and guidance from digital technology specialists, a bespoke digital roadmap tailored to the business, match-funded grants of up to £20,000 for the purchase of hardware and software, staff training to support digital transformation, and a funded intern to support technology implementation. The programme is aimed at manufacturers at any stage of their digital adoption journey, from early exploration through to more advanced implementation. It forms part of the wider Grow London Local network of business support services and is listed alongside other free consultation and advisory offers for small businesses in London.

Open to manufacturing or engineering businesses with a manufacturing facility within the M25 (Greater London), no more than 250 employees, no more than £40m annual turnover, and an ambition for digital adoption.
