About this support

Made Smarter South East, as presented by Business Surrey, is open to SME manufacturers and makers based across the South East, covering Berkshire, Brighton & Hove, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Medway, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Solent and Surrey. The programme supports adoption of industrial digital technologies including additive manufacturing/3D printing, artificial intelligence/machine learning, robotics and automation, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and connectivity (such as 5G and LPWAN), and virtual and augmented reality, among other technologies not limited to this list. It is designed to help eligible manufacturers plan and implement digital transformation with tailored support and access to match funding for eligible technology purchases, consistent with the wider Made Smarter South East offer described by delivery partners across the region.
