Programme

Made Smarter (Stoke & Staffordshire)

Digital technology adoption support for manufacturing and engineering SMEs in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

About this support

Made Smarter, as promoted via Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Growth Hub, is a programme helping manufacturing and engineering SMEs in the West Midlands transform their business through adoption of new digital technology. The programme provides specialist advice and support to help businesses develop an action plan and a detailed digital adoption roadmap tailored to their operations. Financial support is available in the form of match funding of up to 50% (to a maximum of £20,000) towards equipment and/or specialist advice needed to implement digital projects identified in the roadmap. The offer also includes Digital Transformation Workshops and an exclusive Leadership Development course, aimed at building both technical and leadership capability alongside the technology adoption itself. The Growth Hub page directs interested businesses to the national Made Smarter West Midlands regional page for further information and next steps, and positions the Growth Hub's Business Helpline as the first point of contact for local businesses seeking advice on this and other support.
