UKRI Funding Finder

The UKRI Funding Finder is an online toolkit listing current and upcoming funding opportunities across UKRI's research councils, including Innovate UK, AHRC, BBSRC, ESRC, EPSRC, MRC, NERC, Research England and STFC. Users can search and filter opportunities by funding council, funding type (fellowship, grant, loan or other) and opportunity status (open, closed or upcoming), and sort results by publication, opening or closing date. Each listed opportunity gives a summary of what can be applied for, who is eligible (for example, being based at a UK research organisation eligible for a specific council's funding, or being a UK-registered business for some Innovate UK competitions), the funder(s), funding type, total fund or award range, and key dates for publication, opening and closing. Opportunities cover a wide range of fields, from biomedical research to engineering and manufacturing-related programmes such as the Medicines Manufacturing Data Institute and Engineering Biology Access to Infrastructure. Older funding opportunities that closed before 20 September 2020 are archived separately via the UK Government Web Archive. An RSS feed and email subscription are available to keep track of new opportunities.

Eligibility varies by individual opportunity listed (e.g. specific research organisation eligibility for research council funding, or UK-registered business status for some Innovate UK grants); there is no single eligibility criterion for the Funding Finder tool itself.
